About the Despair thing, yeah same here. I really don't make a big deal out of the comments or something. I just do my commenting tasks and I guess just "hope" that the other commenters will comment back in my site. Haha :)

Interesting I hate when people try to tell me how to do something as well, especially my job! I agree that service varies from location to location as far as stores are concerned and most definitely from person to person when it comes to cashiers!

I don't know how to swim but we were required to take 3 phys. ed. courses in college. I was unfortunate enough to get the swimming module... I did absolutely everything possible to get transferred to a different class. Thankfully, the school let me transfer to a modified class when I told them that my eyes were very sensitive to chlorine (which is true anyway). :D

I hope your landlords would stop making excuses and just get things fixed!!!

Half the time they are just precautions, I have seen hard core druggies go through screening like that and get jobs. But I think the criminal screening is important for some jobs.

I'm actually glad that you blogged about this. I'd been debating on this project wonderful thing cause tons of people use it. But if it doesn't make money then forget it. I would be furious if I were you. You run the ads you should be getting paid.

Unless you're a big-cheese multi-million-visiters-a-day website owner, you're really not going to get the kind of money it's worth losing space to ads. :-(

I tried Adsense briefly, but it took me maybe all of one month to take it back down and scrap that piece of s**t! I'll just make money the old fashioned way!

The problem I have with this is that when the system is saying that advertisers can bid nothing and get an ad on my ad boxes, I get a notice saying my ad box is not performing to expectations or standards. How is it something I have to fix if the advertisers are bidding nothing to get an ad on my box? Why is the system even set up to allow it? That allows advertisers to take advantage of the sites they are advertising on. I see ads that when I log into my account, it says they bid $0.01 but I'm making $0.00 on that ad being on my site. Can you please explain to me why that is?

Donation is always a good idea! You could also notify your friends or relatives and exchange some of your stuff for other things of interest they might have. The cardboard box is also a nifty idea -- hell, I know that I would be the first one to rummage the packages in search of hitting the jackpot, lmao. "A person's trash is another one's treasure", as the saying goes =)

I’m getting called by another place but me and the gal from the staffing department keep missing each other. She leaves me a message, I leave her a message. That’s how it’s been for the past 2 days. I’m hoping she and I catch each other tomorrow because I’d hate to lose out on the opportunity to go in for an interview because we kept missing each other.
